Here is the Newsletter from June 2001

As summer approaches, it’s time to start working on what we hope is the final phase of our new sidewalks. Pete Vandenberg will need help on this, please let him know if you have spare time to give a hand. Also, stainless steel plates are still available for a $100 donation if you want your name in cement.

We would like to thank Carl LeClair for painting and repairing our skeet and trap houses.

Brent Scorzelli has been unanimously voted in as a new director.

John Leach has resigned from the Board of Directors after taking a position in Clayton New York. We would like to thank him for his many years of unselfish dedication to our club, he will be sorely missed.

This year we hosted two Finger Lakes Skeet League shoots and the Inland Waters Trap League. The help was overwhelming. All of these shoots ran flawlessly. Thank you to everyone that helped.

It appears that our club will be debt free by the end of this summer. We will be paying off our mortgage two and one half years early. Thank you for your continued support.

Attention: Shooters.

With more and more shooters using the less expensive shells, we have an abundance of empty hulls lying around. This costs our club a great deal of time and money. The trap help spends many hours cleaning up the mess and our lawn equipment gets the snot beat out of it. This year we have spent over $700 just in repairs to the mower deck alone. From this point on, we are asking all shooters to dispose of their hulls properly. This will take a bit of getting used to, but the results will be worth while. We will save approximately $1,500 to $2,000 per year, and the club will look great!
